What is Probation Period?
Turkish: Deneme Süresi
A probation period is the time set to evaluate a new employee's fit with the organization and their performance. During this period the employer observes whether the employee suits the requirements of the job, while the employee has the chance to assess whether the job meets their expectations. At the end of the probation period, a performance appraisal is carried out and a decision is made on whether the employee will continue.
