What is Separation Cost?
Turkish: Ayrılma Maliyeti
Separation cost is the financial burden on the employer when an employee leaves. These costs include items such as notice pay, severance pay, unemployment benefits, the hiring process for a new employee, training and lost productivity. Companies develop strategies to increase employee satisfaction and engagement in order to encourage long-term commitment and minimize separation costs. High separation costs are an important evaluation criterion for workforce planning and HR management.
